Advance First Aid & CPR & AED & Tourniquet
First AidThe Advanced First Aid, CPR, AED, and Tourniquet course is designed to equip participants with the advanced knowledge and life-saving skills necessary to recognize and respond appropriately to severe cardiac, breathing, and medical emergencies. This intensive, single-day program bridges the gap between basic lay-responder first aid and professional emergency medical services (EMS).
Through hands-on skill practice and interactive scenarios, participants will build the confidence and competence needed to manage life-threatening situations—specifically focusing on high-quality resuscitation and rapid hemorrhage control when minutes matter most.
Learning Objectives
Advanced Hemorrhage Control: Identify severe, life-threatening bleeding and demonstrate the correct, rapid application of a commercial tourniquet and hemostatic dressings.
High-Quality CPR & AED: Demonstrate flawless CPR techniques and the safe integration of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) for adults, children, and infants experiencing cardiac arrest.
Choking & Breathing Management: Recognize and clear sudden airway obstructions for responsive and unresponsive victims.
Sudden Medical Emergencies: Assess and provide immediate care for acute illnesses, including heart attacks, strokes, shock, anaphylaxis (including Epinephrine auto-injector use), asthma, and opioid overdoses.
